Cooling is usually associated with cold blue colors. Important: the design needs to reflect the cooling theme with its function visually, emotional and dynamic. We are using 99designers as we wish a fresh and new approach to style and color. Black and silver surfaces, fabrics that cool down in water before wearing, cooling pads, reflection, ventilation – all this plays a role in the theme of “Cooling” fabrics and in the end apparel. Breathable fabrics, moisture management, evaporation are important. Possibilities are active and passive cooling, natural sweating, cooling technologies, yarns with cooling effect, fabric constructions or chemical finishings. The aim is to inform how sportswear cools down the body in situations when it doesn’t feel comfortable anymore as it is too warm? Reasons can be either sportive activities or the outside temperature. The contest is in the category "Illustration or graphic" but also would fit into "poster" we are really open minded! And, it is extended until Tuesday, 9th of February. We need a Key-Visual that depicts the theme "Cooling" in the textile industry to use on the website, in flyers and so on.
